Description
Hi and thank you for viewing my auction. I am clearing out a large quantity of my vinyl collection some of which is rare and collectible. I will aim to give an honest appraisal of the condition of each record and sleeve as well as giving a realistic opening price for auction items.
Much of the vinyl I am selling is from the 70's and 80's, including pop, funk, disco, Tamla Motown and Soul. There will be several demos and promos amongst them, some of which may be difficult to value so you never know, you may pick a rare, collectible item at a bargain price.
Sold items will be despatched as soon as possible after purchase and proof of postage will always be obtained in case of any issues arising.
Having spied that a copy of this went very recently on ebay and was listed as a re-press, let me start by saying this is an original copy on US import from 1973. Whether that increases or decreases its worth I'll leave my buyers to decide.
It's "Reward" (the official A Side) by Melvin Bliss with the more popular (with the DJ's/Hip Hop crews at least) flip side "Synthetic Substitution". On Sunburst US import, cat number SU-527, this is in very good condition, plays very well with clean vinyl. Comes in plain white sleeve - never seen this is a pic cover so maybe it didn't have one. It's only shortcoming is the gummed label on side A but as I always say, it doesn't affect the playing.
Sadly having to part with this gem but hate to see this one just languishing in the record boxes and not being enjoyed - maybe you'll rescue it and love it too!
Good luck with your bidding.
Payment will be by PayPal only within three days of auction ending please and I despatch to the UK only. I will post next working day after payment. Usual ebay rules apply - please bid to buy and thanks again for looking.
