Up for sale is a Vinyl version of "Funky Skull" by Melvin Jackson. Original pressing on the Limelight label of this late 60's jazz-funk gem.
Number of records: 1
Record Condition: VG+
Sleeve Condition: Hole punch near bottom right corner. Some seam splits occurring along top left front cover, approx. 3 1/2" long (you can get a rough idea of it in one of the pics). Lower right corner of front cover is worn. Inner sleeve has numerous creases and is faded.
Everyone has a different set of grading criteria... So, to avoid any confusion, here's ours!
We basically follow the Goldmine Grading System
I do not tend to describe/grade the label on my records unless there is some obvious flaw... so if the label condition is important to you please ask me and I will let you know its condition!
Sealed: Only used for sealed records... Sealed records are assumed to be mint but, since they're sealed, I can't tell the condition for sure! It is good practice to guess the condition to be Near Mint.
Near Mint: Not perfect, but darn close! A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. This will most likely have occurred during packaging, or removing the record from the inner sleeve. Has been handled with extreme care. It should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw should be very hard to see.
VG+: VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that don’t affect the sound are OK.
VG: Light scratches, slight background noise possible. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise won’t overpower the music otherwise.
Good: Record plays without skipping but does have surface noise. Scratches, scuffs and groove wear all possible on this condition.

Included with each record is a new plastic sleeve to keep your artwork safe!
