Description

Blues Week continues with Memphis Slim's No Strain on Prestige Bluesville 1031.  Mono of course, nice sound, disc cut by Rudy Van Gelder ("RVG" stamped in the deadwax).  I am grading the disc VG+: it is not quite near mint but a perfectly fine playing copy.  Spinning it now!  I am grading the jacket strong VG+ as well (there is a very small nick in the lower right hand corner;  seams are otherwise tight, no tears or splits, very clean gloss front cover).  The record is a mix of Memphis Slim solo at the piano and tracks with Lafayette Thomas, Wendell Marshall and one 'Harpie' Brown (playing guess what), about half and half.  Payment by Paypal only please.  Shipping within the US and Canada is $20 US.  Please note that I am taking a break from shipping overseas due to the costs involved, thanks.
