Mendelssohn Symphony 3 Klemperer UK Columbia SAX 2342
Otto Klemperer conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra in a performance of the Mendelssohn Symphony No.3 ("Scotch") and "Hebrides" Overture. An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2342), the labels are blue/green with silver border and "radio waves" and black Columbia and stereo flash. Apart from some light surface scuffs – mainly on side one, the record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed a little with some small creases. Payment by credit card or Paypal is preferred –direct debit available to Australian buyers. Postage by economy air (7 to 10 days) to the U.S. or Asia is $8.50 - slightly more to Europe and elsewhere. Add $2.50 per record for each additional purchase.
