Mendelssohn Symphony 4 Klemperer UK Columbia SAX 2398
Otto Klemperer conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra in a performance of the Mendelssohn Symphony No. 4 ("Italian") and Schumann Fourth Symphonies. An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2398), the labels are blue/green with silver border and "radio waves" and black Columbia and stereo flash. The record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed with some small creases along the spine edge. Payment by credit card or Paypal is preferred –direct debit available to Australian buyers. Postage by economy air (7 to 10 days) to the U.S. or Asia is $8.50 - slightly more to Europe and elsewhere.
