Description

Overall EX condition - would have been strong EX+ but for one small surface mark on side 1, as shown on image.  Wide band, ED2 label.  Performance is by RUGGIERO RICCI with THE LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA conducted by PIERINO GAMBA.
SIDE 1: MENDELSSOHN  'Concerto in E Minor for Violin and Orchestra.   SIDE 2: BRUCH  'Concerto No.1 in G Minor for Violin and Orchestra'.
RECORD     -     lovely sheen with faintest of surface marks under strong light - side 1 has a light surface mark towards the end of the First Movement on the violin solo which causes soft intermittent clicking, rest of record crystal clear.
LABELS      -     wide band black/silver 2nd issue -spotless with negligible spindle wear.
SLEEVE      -     front lovely and clean with mild ringwear and slight wear to corners, back clean with small pen stroke to top right hand corner and square stamp with enclosed DI to left blank area of side 1 track listing, as shown on image
