For sale ,a recording of Amahl And The Night Visitors by Gian Carlo Menotti -RCA/Victor WDM1701. Issued in 1952. This box set of records is composed of 4) 7” 45’s on clear Red vinyl, an info and lyric booklet and disc dividing sheets advertising other releases of the time. All the records and inserts are in excellent condition and obviously little played. This set represents a recording of the first-ever opera written specifically for TV transmission on NBC in USA. It is a piece of history. The discs were issued on red vinyl to distinguish them from popular music ,which was issued on the more common black vinyl . They will be well packed on despatch.
