Description
This listing is for a vintage vinyl LP for the album by metal/punk band Mentors called "You Axed For It!".
It was released in 1985 by the labels Death Records and Enigma with catalog #'s DEATH 001 and 72036-1.
This is a US first pressing of the album.
Also included here is a very rare unpublished outtake photo from the photo session that produced the photos on the front and back covers of the LP.
This photo was obtained personally from someone who worked on the photography of the album cover.
Record Condition:
Moderate visible surface wear in the way of various light scratches.
Surface noise is present at points, but fairly minimal most of the time.
Clean center labels.
Some light dust/dirt and a few finger print smudges, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.
Industry Grade: Mid Range VG.
Jacket Condition:
Moderate visible wear on the edges, corners, and spine.
Minor visible creasing on the cardboard in a few small spots.
Some staining on a few spots of the top of back cover (see photo).
Front cover still displays very well.
Ring wear is very faint.
No seam splits, writing, or any other major defects.
Includes original lyric poster insert sheet, which is in very good condition.
Inner Sleeve: Generic white paper inner sleeve.
Industry Grade: Solid to Strong VG.
Stored in a smoke free home, out of any direct sunlight, and away from any extreme temperature changes.
