Mercyful Fate - Don’t Break the Oath - Combat Records LP MX 8011 1984 Shrink Wrapped with Price Tag

All the records from my collection are collector-owned, and were purchased thirty-plus years ago. Apart from being opened and played once so I could record onto a cassette tape for ease of listening on my Walkman or boom box, all records have simply been sitting on a shelf until this day.
Please review all photos carefully as what you see is what you will receive, including inner sleeves, lyrics sheets, order forms, etc. Note that my records have not been cleaned ultrasonically, and any vinyl that has been sitting for an extended period of time in a paper or cardboard sleeve will naturally collect some amount of fiber or dust. As a result, please clean all purchases prior to playing.
Finally, although not photographed with a protective sleeve, all records will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail with at least a 2 mil thick archival quality outer sleeve, as well as cardboard record padding for protection.

The tantalizing medieval guitar leads cry into your brain when combined with the extremely intense rhythms of the instruments, and ...King Diamond's vocals...whooa this human is more than a vocalist...his voice ranges from a groaning moan to an incredible soprano pitch (equal almost to the high guitar solos) where he sings seemingly effortlessly with utter perfection. None of that generic whining here.
Mercyful Fate are quickly becoming a legend in this new metal kingdom as they rightfully should be. The style is unmatched by anything that has ever existed. Smooth, perfect purity, and high intensity is the sum of this band. "Don't Break the Oath" will send shivers through your tonsils over as you ecstatically scream along. As with most Mercyful Fate songs it begins by conjuring up your awareness with a shock, then develops into a good half dozen little diverse riffs, expertly combined into a totally insane and original work of art…."Don't Break the Oath" belongs in a class all by itself, it cries to be much more than simply heavy metal, but a new and better genre of its own."
