Description
I'm back with a nice auction of 50's blues & doo-wop 45s with a few really cool 60's soul records mixed in. There are several small labels represented here as well as some promos and several real rarities as well as early singles by more popular groups.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Johnny Otis & His Orchestra - Goomp Blues / One Nighter Blues
Format: 45 rpm 7" vinyl record
Year: 1952
Notes: Maroon label first pressing. Earlier single by this group who was quite prolific in the 50's/early 60's. This is definitely some of their better work. Two R&B instrumentals with a bit of a jazz feel. Really good stuff, the kind of music they just don't make anymore.
Record Condition: VG+, The record itself is in nice shape & plays very well, just a couple of micro-surface scuffs. Very clean with good original gloss. Plays great with excellent sound. Labels are also very clean with no writing/tears/scuffs. Really good condition overall.
Sleeve Condition: G+, sleeve is pretty worn with a partial split on the left side. Still displays pretty well.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in an oversize box for maximum protection.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
