Another of the absolutely wonderful Swingle Singers productions from the ‘60s, ANYONE FOR MOZART concentrates on the singing group’s “lightening up” of compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.  And delightful, it is.

Selections include SONATA No. 15, AH VOUS DIRAIS JE MAMAN, ALLEGRO (from Sonata No. 14), FUGUE, and EINE KLEINE NACHT MUSIC.

The original release: In a cover still in shrink-wrap; Mercury pressed record inside should play near mint.

For those unfamiliar, Mercury Records was purchased by Philips in Europe, but before they did so any of the black labeled Philips you see were actually pressed in the US by Mercury.  LPs that have a reputation amongst audiophiles for being much more "open sounding" than their European counterparts.
