Mercury Olympian Series AMS 1603 STRAVINSKY Firebird Ballet ANTAL DORATI & London Symphony Orchestra 1960
One of many quality ORIGINAL classical recordings MAINLY UK FIRST STEREO PRESSINGS I will be listing over the coming days all from a SUPERB ONE OWNER COLLECTION purchased new in the "Golden Age" 1950s-60s. I have acquired the collection direct from the gentleman's widow - they were bought from new, mostly PLAYED ONCE on highest quality equipment and recorded on reel to reel and then ARCHIVED away. Hence most of the vinyl in this collection is unmarked and just like new. I will point out any flaws (should there be any) as I individually list each one.
This one is MERCURY Olympian Series "Living Presence", 1960 on rear cover, matrix A, B. Original liner sleeve in superb condition. The labels are in excellent condition. Outer sleeve is MINT. The vinyl looks MINT and possibly just the one play - please note any lines visible on the vinyl in my scans are simply light reflections and are NOT on the record. An ARCHIVE near mint copy that won't be bettered.
