Description
Up for auction here is Tchaikovsky's "Variations on a Rococo Theme" and Saint-Saens' Cello Concerto in A minor performed by Janos Starker with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Antal Dorati on the Mercury Living Presence label, catalog # SR-90409. The RFR-1/RFR-1 pressing ("Vendor" on the label) is VG+ with a few hairlines that shouldn't sound and 2 vinyl "bubbles". There is one at the end of side 1 (Tchaikovsky) that makes no sound. And there is one near the beginning of of side 2 that makes about 4 loud "heartbeat" thumps and then 5 more that each get progressively quieter. The cover suffers from writing on the back (and that cool "promotion copy" stamp) and some tape on spine (not because of splits....it was some sort of notation system to the previous owner). Shipping is $4 in the US (or $8 for Priority Mail), $14 to Canada and $24 to the rest of the world. Additional LPs are $1 each in the US, $3 to Canada and $6 each to the rest of the world. I pack records outside of the covers to protect the seams from splitting. They are shipped in dedicated record mailers with padded inserts. I spend a lot of time and money on shipping with care so your record looks as good when it arrives as it did when it left.
