Description

Mercyful Fate – Melissa LP (MFN10)

Mercyful Fate was a Danish heavy metal band from Copenhahagan that may or may not have been one of the original black metal groups. Initially active from 1981 to 1985, they reunited in 1992. The band went on hiatus again in 2000, when frontman King Diamond decided to continue his solo career. They are cited as major influences by many artists in the black, thrash, power, progressive metal genres. Melissa was their debut album in 1983

7 Track LP from 1983. (MFN10). Vinyl in excellent condition. Cover has a touch of colour fading and slight gentle creasing on sleeve and a small scuffed rubs on the edges and corners but other than that in reasonable condition. Complete with inner sleeve.

Music For Nations was the seminal UK metal label started in 1983 by Martin Hooker. The label officially closed its doors in 2004 but its catalogue is one of the most legendary collections of independent metal releases in the history of the music industry.
