Description

Merle Haggard and The Strangers Mama Tried  Capitol Records  a 1975 RCA Music Service club copy of the original 1968 release R-133989 From deep in my record vault. Another classic piece of vinyl that has only been played once or twice. VINYL is Excellent+. Close to near mint, but not quite. Under bright light I spot some superficial sleeve scuffs. Very few and faint. Side one has a small hairline scratch in track two. Side two has one partially in track two and three. Again, these are light and will not effect play or sound quality. Both sides have 'like new ' shines and clean Capitol labels. No 'skid marks' are visible around the spindle hole on side two. It is possible that side two has never been played.  COVER is Near Mint. Super clean. It remains 'tight'. Open shrink wrap. (The shrink wrap is very loose but has survived and protected the cover for all these years.) No split seams. Clean spine. Vibrant colors. Front and back still maintain a gloss. The white background of the back cover has no old age discoloration. Classic Merle Haggard country. Clean vintage vinyl.
