Description

Up for sale is this super-rare and highly collectible box set from Metal Blade records, one of the most influential metal record labels of the 80s and 90s. Box set is complete, in great shape, and numbered (#533 of a limited run of 1000), shown on the back of the box, along with Brian Slagel's signature.
This box set compiles the first five Metal Massacre records into one box, all as picture discs, all in the original packaging, and in immaculate condition. In addition to the five discs are: a box set info list, a Metal Blade Records iron-on (ready for your t-shirt or badass denim jacket), iron-on instruction sheet, a Paradox Music mailorder flyer, and the complete Metal Blade 1984 Photodiscography catalog, complete with band listings, descriptions, promo photos that would make Satan proud, and catalog numbers and descriptions for every band on the label. Promo photos include Slayer, Fates Warning, Hellhammer (which later became Celtic Frost) - more bands than Satan could point his crooked finger at.  The ULTIMATE collection for the collector and completist! All details shown in the photos - please see attached.
All of the discs are in amazing shape - they look like they've never been played. The supplementary materials are also in amazing shape - in better shape than your white high-top Reeboks. Tracks include the first ever recording by Metallica ("Hit The Lights" on Disc #1, with THE only official documentation of Dave Mustaine on guitar and Ron McGovney on bass), the first recorded release by Slayer (Aggresive Perfector), and the first released recording of Cliff Burton in his pre-Metallica band, Trauma.
There is one small scratch on the front of the box - maybe 1/2 inch square that has removed a bit of color from the box (see photo). This in no way affects the records or quality of the set - I just want to point it out for full disclosure.
Best of all, you can have this amazing collection without selling your soul! Bid today with confidence - I have 100% satisfaction in my feedback. Shipping will be (ride the) lightning fast and secure, with tracking number. Imagine cruising around town in your Z28 with this blasting from your Pioneer stereo. Be the envy of all your friends, and start bidding RIGHT NOW.
