Description

Original 1979 edition of Metal Box by Public Image Limited.
I bought this in the week of release in 1979. In those days I used to tape my vinyl onto cassette as soon as I got it home to preserve the precious grooves, subsequently playing the vinyl only on rare occasions. I haven't had a working record player since around 1989, thus these discs haven't been played more than five or six times in all their existence. Last weekend I took them round to a mate's house to check them, as he has a high-end audio set-up. They not only played perfectly, the bass almost gave me a cardiac arrest!
