Description
Up for auction we have the original Metal Massacre 12" LP compilation. This release is notable for being Metal Blade records first release and containing a recording of Metallica with Dave Mustaine playing guitar and their bassist was some guy named Ron McGovney. This is the silver Metalworks records issue which was a second printing with a slightly different tracklisting than the first press which had a black and white cover.
The sleeve is in pretty good condition. There are definitely signs of wear. Some scuffing and a few creases here and there. Overall it is in pretty good shape for its age and there are no cut-outs or cut corners or anything like that. I tried to capture the wear in the pictures. This has been in my collection for a while and has been well taken care of since landing on my shelf. The disc is in great shape! There are no scratches, marks or scuffs. The record plays through very cleanly with very little noise and no skips.
