Very Rare limited edition 5 Picture Disc LP box set of the Metal Massacre compilations. Box is extremely rare. Only 1000 were pressed and this set is number 819. Metal Massacre series ushered in the U.S. wave of heavy metal in the early eighties and this set includes the first ever vinyl performance of Metallica, rare tracks from Slayer, Lizzy Borden, Hellhammer, Voi Vod, and many others. The box is in good condition and is showing some age and has taped to secure it. I purchased this set originally in 84 and the vinyl has rarely been played! That's right, these 5 amazing looking picture discs have minimal play as I also purchased the releases on cassette for listening purposes. This is a very hard to find collectible and sought after in metal collecting circles. The button and biography sheet is not included in this set as they have not been located. The original order form flyer is included.Metal Massacre 1 includes -Black N Blue - Chains Around Heaven (demo - pre record deal)Bitch - Live for the WhipMalice - Captive of LightAvatar - OctaveCirith Ungol - Death of the SunDemon Flight - Dead of the NightPandemonium - Fighting BackwardsMalice - Kick You DownMetallica - Hit the Lights FIRST APPEARANCE with Ron McGovney on Bass and Dave Mustaine on Guitar!!Metal Massacre 2 -Armored Saint - Lesson Well Learned3rd Stave Alert - Mind InvaderSurgical Steel - Rivit Head (future members of Badlands, Keel, and Racer XObsession - Shadows of Steel (Mike Vescera of Loudness, Malmsteen)Overkill - NO Holds BarredWarlord - Lucifers HammerTrauma - Such a Shame with CLIFF BURTON on bass!Dietrich - It's AlrightMolten Leather - InversionHyksos - The KingsAloha - Heavy Metal Virgin - Featuring Marty Friedman of Megadeth, Cacophany, HawaiiMetal Massacre 3 -Slayer - Aggressive PerfectorBitch - Riding the ThunderTyrant - The Battle of ArmageddonMedusa - PiranahsTest Pattern - Bite the KnifeBlack Widow - BlitzkriegWarlord - Mrs VictoriaVirgin Steele- Let's go all the waySexist - Fire and WindSnowhite - Hell Bent (Znowhite)Marauder - The KidLa Mort - Fist and ChainMetal Massacre 4Sacred Blade - The AlienDeath Dealer - Cross my WayTrouble - The Last JudgementSceptre - Taken By ForceZoetrope - Speed ZoneWay Cry - Forbidden EvilAbattoir - Screams from the GraveWitchslayer - I don't want to dieLizzy Borden - Rod of IronAugust Redmoon - Fear no evilThrust - DestructerMedieval - MedievalMetal Massacre 5Omen - Torture MeVoi Vod - Condemned to the GallowsAttack - Call on the attackerFuture Tense - NightmareOverkill - Deathrider (NYC)Fates Warning - Soldier BoyMetal Church - The BraveLethyl Sin - DestroyerFinal warning - The WarriorHellhammer - CrucifixionMace - Marching Saprophytes
