Description

An original 1st press of AJFA on the UK Vertigo label. Matrix .A2/B2/C1/D2. Etching 'Masterdisc DMM'. The vinyl comes housed in an original UK sleeve VERH/61. Also included is one original black inner sleeve - the one with the lyrics [the important one!]. The second black inner with the credits is absent. The vinyl will come housed in two original generic white inners date coded to May 1988 [a couple of months before 1st release].
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex+) In fantastic condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback..across four sides! Very little to find fault with here..just solid high quality audio. Whether it is heavy riffing, or acoustic low-key stuff a very nice clean rendition. Interference is pretty much totally absent. We couldn't detect more than a couple of light crackles in a couple of isolated moments. It's a superb copy and one that will deliver the best reproduction you're likely ever to find of this Metallica classic.
Cover (Ex+) Pretty much faultless with a lovely shiny front and back and no signs of creasing at all. Edge wear pretty much non-existent and the openings are still nice and sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and lies totally flat. A beautiful specimen.
Inner (Ex) A couple of creases no splits or markings.
