Australian release on Vertigo double album.
It could possibly be the last Metallica album to be released on vinyl.
It marked a new direction for Metallica and was their most commercially successful release to date. With the track "one" being played on Mtv it was metal for the masses and helped Metallica become the monsters of rock that they are.
Released in 1988 I've had it since new it's been played a few times but I got a fancy new cd (in 1988) which saved me getting up and turning over the record so it's sat in my collection ever since.
The vinyl is in good condition there are no visible scratches but the sleeve is a bit dirty and a tiny bit worn. But it is 27 years old.
