Description

Up for sale is an extremely rare Metallica vinyl bootleg double album from 1987 entitled "Cee Four." This album is an original 1987 1st pressing from the Screaming Oiseau label and is 1 of only 1000 copies pressed. The condition of both vinyl discs are very good with very minimal scratches or flaws and each play perfectly. The sleeve is in very good condition with only a few light crease marks and minimal scuff marks around the edges as shown in the photos.
There are some interesting things that should be noted about this album. First of all the live recording is actually taken from a Metallica concert in Eltzer Hof, Mainz, Germany on December 1st, 1984 and NOT Santa Barbara State College in 1987 as stated on the record sleeve. This also means this recording features original bassist Cliff Burton and not his successor Jason Newsted as credited and pictured on the album sleeve and would have been taken from a concert on the Ride The Lightning: "Bang That Head That Doesn't Bang" European Tour. Also, there are two songs that are mislabeled on the running order of the album. The song labeled as "Call of Ktulu" (misspelled as Kitulu) on the album is actually "The Four Horsemen" and the song listed as "Metal Mash" is actually "Call of Ktulu." Interesting fact: the front cover skeleton is the mascot logo from "The Bones Brigade" which was a skateboarding team that included Tony Hawk. This album is an unofficial LP release.
Track Listing:
Fight Fire With Fire Ride The Lightning Phantom Lord The Four Horsemen (Listed as Call of The Ktulu) No Remorse Call Of The Ktulu (Listed as "Metal Mash") Seek & Destroy Whiplash Creeping Death Metal Militia
This album is an extremely rare and hard to find piece for any collector of Metallica, Thrash Metal or rare vinyl. Shipping is $4.00
