This listing is for a Double LP Vinyl BOOTLEG recording of METALLICA, called DEATH MISSION.  The first Vinyl features the entirety of Metallica's live set at Castle Donnington, in England, recorded on August 17, 1985.  The second vinyl features a collection of Demos and rare early recordings featuring Dave Mustaine from 1983-84.  Kabdjo records, Detroit, MI.  Catalog # KAB101, released in 1986.  Made in USA.  Vinyl A/B has plain white labels, and Vinyl C side has a yellow label, and D-side has a cream colored label.  This is an incredibly RARE recording!

Both records have fantastic sound quality for their age.  I grade them at Very Good Plus, as there is very little record noise, even during quiet parts, and between tracks.  The records have some superficial marks on the surface, but they do not affect play in any way.  Original sound quality is not, obviously a studio recording, but all instrument parts are audible, and audience noise is kept to a minimum with only occasionally discernible shouts calling for "Whiplash".  There are a couple parts where the right side cuts out and the sound is mono coming from the left.  The tracks on Side 4 are recorded onto the vinyl at the wrong speed, making it sound like a 33 played at 45, even though you are playing it at 33. You can fix this however if you have a turntable with adjustable pitch, or one the spins at 16 rpm.  Nonetheless, this is a magnificent, must-hear recording from the history of the band!   

Plain white labels on record A/B have swelling/bubbling in the centers, but no peeling from the edges.  Cream colored label on record side D is slightly off center. 

This album has been stored clean and upright in a protector.  Sleeve has some edgewear, and a slight ring which has not worn through the finish (see photo).  The lower-left-hand corner has a light, but visible crimp.  A few nicks and marks, but no major damage to the front or back phSleeve has no splits, rips, tears, holes, or other damage that I could find.  Still glossy and attractive!
