Description
This is an original, near mint condition Metallica promotional EP "The $5.98 EP Garage Days Re-Visited". It was issued by Elektra Records U.S. in 1987. It was distributed to radio stations, the music press and selected music industry V.I.P.s. The record labels are white Elektra with "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" printed on them. There are no stickers or pen marks on the labels. The album jacket has no split seams, creases or pen marks. On the front of the jacket there is a pink sticker that reads "$5.98 EP! Do Not Pay More!!! 60757-1". On the back of the jacket there is a gold promotional stamp that was put there by the record company to mark this EP as a promotional copy. Included is the original Elektra Records inside sleeve. It has had one owner, a former record company executive who has had it filed away since 1987. As this promotional album was pressed in very limited quanties, before the release of the commercial version, it is a highly sought after item among Metallica collectors around the world.
