This is the ultra rare Load boxset. There were only 100 pressed on white vinyl! 50 were made available on Because Sound Matters and the other 50 were sold through the Metallica fanclub. Each lp comes in a polylined paper sleeve and then a heavy black cardboard sleeve with the "Load-era" Metallica logo on the front. Mastered to play at 45 rpms for best sound quality.
- 180 Gram Audiophile Quality Vinyl Cut at Bernie Grundman Mastering Studios - 45 RPM from the original analog master tapes - SUPER RARE- only 100 made
The inner sleeves are in great shape, practically NM, easily like new. All four records are in NM condition, have never been played! Only NM because it has been opened.
You will see a few small indents/imperfections near the corners on the spine of the box from my shelf where it was stored. Close-up pictures are uploaded. Barely noticeable, but I wanted to point it out (in case you're one of those extra anal collectors... J/K!)
Per BSM's site:
Five years after the release of the seminal "Black" album- Metallica released LOAD, an 80 minute testament to their creative and sonic power. We have remastered this album for the original master recordings at Bernie Grundman Studios in Hollywood, California. It has been cut at 45 rpm to create a very special 4 disc box set which was pressed at the world's premiere pressing plant, Pallas MFG, Germany. This limited online edition has been pressed on WHITE vinyl for a limited run of 100 boxsets.
