METALLICA- MASTER OF PUPPETS
VINYL 12” LP 1986
HIGHLY COLLECTABLE UK 1 ST. PRESSING- MUSIC FOR NATIONS – MFN 60
RECORD CONDITION: Near Mint
VINYL: very clean vinyl.
Test played on a Rega P6 turntable with Exact Cartridge with a Rega Brio Amp & RS1 Speakers.
Playback is clear with excellent depth, nuance & clarity. Drum and bass both punch. Higher end is crisp and separated.
There is little to no background hiss. The “run in” & “run out” on both sides are quiet.
No skips, jumps or other defects.
A very slight low end crackle during the quieter parts of “Orion.” And the very start of “Damage Inc” This is barely audible and does not spoil the listening experience.
Album is in remarkable condition it being over 36 years old.
Please note that I have been deliberately conservative with my grading as this can be subjective. However I have taken a significant number of pictures to back up my description.
LABELS: Clean, Unmarked. Spindle holes are clean
MATRIX SIDE A: MFN 60 A-3
MATRIX SIDE B: MFN 60 B-3
COVER CONDITION: Excellent. Glossy with minor creases at edges from storage. (See photos)
FRONT/BACK: Clean cover, some minor creases at edges from storage. Corners are slightly rounded. (See photos)
INNER SLEEVE/INSERTS: Printed inner sleeve included. It is in near mint condition with just minor wear. No splits. (See photos)
NOTES: Classic 1st UK press Metallica album on Vinyl. Considered the more desirable to collectors. Comes with original European tour and merchandise flyer in near mint condition. This is something not often found.
I have priced this album competitively against other for sale on eBay. I am open reasonable offers.
