Metallica - Master of Puppets (1986, WEA, Australia)
Awesome sounding pressing (and I've heard a few)
Matrix Side A: MX 212183 60439-1 S1 Matrix Side B: MX 212184 60439-1 S2
Vinyl Grade - VG
Several light to moderate hairline scratches that don't affect play
Sleeve Grade - VG
Corner and edge wear. Light ring wear. Some scuffing on back (see photo).
Play Grade*
Light crackle between tracks and in "quiet" parts (not many of these). Some loud ticks between tracks 3 and 4 on Side A that continue for around 30 seconds into track 4. Plays better than it looks. Sounds incredible.
Other Grades
Inner sleeve has age stains (VG). Labels pretty good (see photos).
Vinyl Weight = 115g
All records have been cleaned using a vacuum-based record cleaner (KAB EV-1 RECORD CLEANER)
* A note about play grading:
I play grade through headphones, listening for any obvious flaws. My setup: Pro-ject Mk II Xpression III turntable fitted with an Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge, through to a Vincent Pho-8 Phono Pre-amplifier, on to a Cambridge Audio 651A Stereo Amplifier and finally out to a pair of Grado sr225i headphones.
I use Goldmine gradings. I never use Mint unless an item is still sealed. If you have any issues, please let me know. If it was me, I would!
I use recycled LP mailers for postage, with bubble wrap for extra protection. I do not charge extra for packing or for materials. If I have somehow over-quoted for postage, I will refund the amount I have overcharged. I have no interest in making a profit on postage.
I will combine postage - just ask.
