Metallica The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited on black vinyl.

Elektra Records, catalog #60757-1, original 1987 pressing.

5-track EP: Helpless, The Small Hours, The Wait, Crash Course in Brain Surgery, Last Caress/Green Hell.

This EP holds real significance in Metallica’s history: it was the band’s first release to feature new bassist Jason Newsted, and their first recording following the death of original bassist Cliff Burton. The tracks are covers of the band’s own early influences (Diamond Head, Holocaust, Killing Joke, Budgie, and The Misfits), recorded in just six days after being rehearsed in Lars Ulrich’s garage.

Original inner sleeve included, red and black graphic design. Cover art shows the band in a tiled room.

Condition: gently used. Minor edge and corner wear on the outer sleeve. Record and labels are clean, Side One and Side Two labels both present. Plays through cleanly with no skips.
