Description
A rarity, and a classic piece of British jazz. The sleeve is in very good condition, with only very minor wear to the edges, consonant with its age. Inner sleeve perfect. The vinyl is glossy, and very clean. The label is perfect. On Side 1, virtually all of the playing surface is near-mint or mint. Even in very soft passages, the surfaces are silent, and the reproduction as new. But there is one flaw on Side 1 which should be noted: there is a visible flaw in the vinyl at the beginning of the side. HOWEVER - apart from three audible clicks BEFORE the music even begins, there is no noticeable affect on the playback from this flaw. On Side 2 there is a series of clicks, lasting about a minute, around half-way through the side: there is no obvious visible mark to account for this. And there are one or two very minor clicks at the end of the side. Surface noise is virtually absent otherwise. (I have brand new 180 gram lps with more surface noise than on this.)
