This is a copy of the original and first European pressing of ‘Dangerous’ by Michael Jackson.

Pressed by CBS Haarlem in the Netherlands, it is a double LP in a single pocket sleeve.

The matrices are all first stampers A1/B1/C1/D1.

The previous owner could have taken better care of it. The sleeve has a few creases and shelfwear, while the inner sleeves, as can be seen, are somewhat ‘wrinkly’.

Inner two is slightly knifed at the bottom and the record is peeping through.

The records themselves have seen a lot of play and have surface marks, minor scratches and scuffs as well as numerous hairlines.

Whew !

However - I have now cleaned both records ultrasonically and they’re now looking shiny and quite presentable. Above all they PLAY very well indeed.

Having listened throughout I can state that there are NO major scratches, skips, sticks or jumps.

There is occasionally some low-level crackle in quieter passages but such is the dynamic and bombastic nature of the bulk of the material that it remains underneath the music and cannot be heard during normal playback.

The music - which is what matters - shines through.

All photos are of the item for sale having been cleaned. Item will be shipped with the records transferred to paper inners so that no further ‘knifing’ to the original inners may take place in transit.
