For this auction I'm selling a copy of the classic album "E.T.: The Storybook Album" by Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones on vinyl. This is LP record is used and in okay condition but truly a collectible nonetheless. The package includes poster, booklet, record, and box cover - all in good condition. The set, which I bought some years ago for $35, has increased in value since the tragic death of the King of Pop. This is a special album because it was narrated by Michael Jackson. During production of the record Michael decided to record a song for the album, which resulted in his record label suing the makers of this album. Ultimately Michael lost the case, and this record was discontinued and pulled from shelves as quickly as possible. Despite the unavailability of the album, it still won a Grammy for Best Children's Album. This album This is the complete set, with the original record, the fold out poster, and read-along book.Out of print and is getting extremely hard to find. I have taken a photo of all items spread out to give you idea of how it all looks in scale. The poster which is like four album covers folded out is in decent but not perfect condition with slight little dog ears on each corner - but still looks good. Meanwhile the ablum cover and the booklet still have the name of person who I bought it from (it is a kids book after all they - kids - write their names in stuff) is in good condition. The LP is in so-so condition - playable but with some crackles and scratches. Many people only want this item for the poster and booklet. BUt if you like I can dub off the LP audio onto a CDR and include. Just say you would like this and it shall be done.
