Description
Vinyl was play tested through Focal Elegia's and it played as NM, I numerically scored the audio a 98 and it sounded perfect with almost no surface noise at all less a tiny bit on A2 for less than 2 seconds and between the tracks of B1-B2; this vinyl plays about as perfect as perfect can be. I've played a few of the 1982 Japanese represses (they have the yellow star on the OBI and MJ producer credits on the rear sleeve) and this just sounded a little better; I might play it side to side to back against my personal 1982 Japanese repress to really be sure. You're not going to find a better copy of Thriller than this one here.
The sleeve is scored as NM as well with very light corner wear and a tiny bit of wear on the top front seam, something you'll be able to feel however beyond that I saw no issues. The colored booklet, fold out poster and insert showed no significant issues. Based on this I am scoring the jacket a 97. The OBI shows only very light wear.
Album will be mailed in a cardboard mailer between cardboard with bubble wrap. If you have any questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
