Description

Here's a very rare artifact from Mike Nesmith's early career: a Colpix/Wally Heider Studios demo acetate of "The New Recruit," the tune Nesmith would release under the pseudonym Michael Blessing just months before auditioning for the Monkees. Condition is VG with some light scuffs, but strong playback from start to finish. The mix may be slightly different from the final product.
