Description
Over the next few months, we will be listing some really cool 1950's and 60's Rockabilly records. We hope you will enjoy them. Just to let you know, we clean all of our records with alcohol only. Although most clean up nicely this way, some records may benefit from a stronger cleaning solution or VPI machine to really be optimal.
The record for your consideration is Mickey Gilly "Drive In Movie " /"Give Me A Chance." Khoury's 712. Record is visually VG. Excellent shine. A side is very nice. Just a little light surface wear. Looks like paper scuffs. B side is very similar except it does have some light flaking on the outer edge of the record, but has no effect on the play. Plays excellent on our record player with little to no background noise. This would grade probably E- if it weren't for the edge issue. Both sides of the record appear to be autographed by Mickey Gilly though I can't verify that the autograph is authentic. See scans for labels.
