For sale is this UK original vinyl 7" demo single, in a plain sleeve, by Mike Vickers. Entitled On The Brink (theme from the BBC's Wednesday night play), the B-side is The Puff Adder. On the Columbia label, the catalogue number is DB 7657 and the date of issue is 1965.
Condition
The vinyl is only in Good condition visually but both sides play through with no jumps or sticks.
The labels are in Very Good condition with clear, perfect printing and just a few light spindle marks and a name written on the A-side (see pic) The original centre is present but is only attached at two points.
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
