MIKE WESTBROOK'S LOVE SONGS (DERAM RECORDS) 1970
This an original UK pressing, Cat No: SML 1069 ( ZAL 9881P)
Probably one of his rarest albums (and one of his finest). I would describe the condition of the vinyl as -Ex. There are 1 or 2 visible scuff marks on the vinyl, which does not seem to affect play and there are some slight audible clicks & pops on certain quiet sections of side 1 & at the beginning of the first track on side 2. These are not prevalent throughout album - this is a clean and well-preserved pressing.
There is a name that has been handwritten on the label of side 1 only. Other than that labels are clean, and both sides of the vinyl are still very glossy
The cover would be described as being in VG condition: the front still has it's original laminate intact, but a previous owner's initials are handwritten in the top left-hand corner.
The back cover has a small brown stain to the right-hand side in the middle (this looks like a beverage was spilled on it at the time and then the cover held in front of a fire to dry it out. Consequently, this has resulted in some slight warpage of that section of the back cover only. I have placed a cellophane cover over the album.
All seams are intact and there has been no repairs done of needed to the cover.
Overall, this is a fine example of a rare album that was released 40 years ago.
