1950’s & 60’s Prestige Records Auction
Premium Jazz Collection Purge
Vinyl Condition:Bergenfield Press, RVG & DG. VG+ S1 has some very light scuffing but plays VG+, S2 looks NM but I heard a tiny hairline make a few light pops in the last track, but still mostly NM.
Cover Condition:
VG+ moderate corner wear, top edge has light wear and chipping, spine missing bottom 2" and top 1", back bottom left and top center stained, a price tag top right and bottom right tiny writing.
I’ve pulled roughly 40-50 original Prestige Jazz records from my collection to sell. This is a batch of 9 to end Sunday night 4/26.
This selection features a mix of 1st Press Original 50th St NYC Fireworks labels and Bergenfield NJ labels. I will cite the pressing year to the best of my knowledge for each specific listing.
There are some very nice records in this first drop of nine. I am focusing on offering records that are either in superior condition or are the "hard-to-find" pieces that frequently appear on serious collectors' want lists.
Note: The 2nd drop will be even bigger, most likely arriving one week out.
