Description

This is Prestige Records PRLP 7109, Miles Davis Bags Groove, a yellow, 446 W.50th St. NYC, deep groove labeled, original mono issue of this classic session with RVG etched in the dead wax, featuring Thelonious Monk , Milt Jackson, Sonny Rollins and Horace Silver.  The record is in VG+ condition showing light marks on both sides but one feel-able mark on each side. There is a light click at the vibes solo on track 1 because of this mark, and a light click at the end of the 1st track and beginning of the 2nd on side 2 as well. The rest of the record plays quietly with only occasional light background crackle audible in some quiet spots. There are no skips and no distortion; nothing to interfere with the enjoyment of music. The laminated cover is excellent and intact (actually - close to near mint with one small bump on the upper left). The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. This would make an excellent initial "play" grade copy of this rare original mono issue and even a fine collector's grade copy. The record has been  cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
