Description
This is a late RVG-stamped mono pressing of Miles Davis “Bags Groove” on the blue labels of Prestige PRLP 7109. The playing surface has a few light inaudible handling marks but plays as new. The non-laminated cover is bright and clean through; ¼” tear from a price tag removal on the front at the upper right corner; ¼” split on the top seam, at the opening. The front is signed by Miles in red and by Sonny Rollins in black. It is interesting to note that during signings, Sonny will vary his signature consecutively: he may first do the large florid signature with which he is most familiar, then go to a more vertical style, and then to printing. Obviously, even with his signature, he doesn’t like to repeat himself. Personnel include Thelonious Monk, Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, Percy Heath, and Kenny Clarke. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL.
