Description
Miles Davis Bitches Brew (U.S) Columbia GP 26
This is an original 1969 U.S. pressing of Miles Davis' ground breaking jazz-fusion double lp. "Bitches Brew". Unlistenable to many upon release, this requisite electric jazz-fusion lp has since taken its' rightful place in musical history as a significant document of music creativity and technique.
Dead Wax: has XSM152412-1A, XSM152413-1G, XSM152414-1A and XSM152415-1A stamped on Side 1, 2, 3 and 4. respectively. Original 1969 U.S. pressing.
Vinyl Visual Grading: VG+/NM with VERY LITTLE marking and NO evidence of frequent play.
Vinyl Play Grading: NM and as about good a play as you will find of this particular pressing.
Cover Visual Grading: VG/VG+ with some minor ring, rubbing and general wear. There is a small tear along the top of the spine where the cardboard has come away a wee bit. Overall a very nice cover as evidenced in the pictures.
Comes with original paper inners (songs written in ball-point pen) which I have lined with Audiophile style rice-plastic inners. SHIPPING WILL BE A LITTLE MORE ON THIS ONE AS IT IS QUITE THE HEAVY PACKAGE!
Hello all. My name is Jamie and I have been collecting records for 40+ years. It is high time to sell off my doubles (of which I have hundreds), and also some items that are no longer of interest to me. My musical tastes run all over the map so there should be something for everyone depending on the particular day. My goal is to become an HONEST, TRUSTED and RELIABLE provider of EXCELLENT quality vinyl and cds. The grading system I employ for vinyl will be as follows:
NM: Virtually unmarked / considered either RARELY PLAYED, AS NEW OPENED, or record could still be SEALED.
VG+: NO scratches/scuffs. At most a few light surface blemishes which have VERY LITTLE or NO effect on fidelity.
VG: Used but CERTAINLY NOT abused, perhaps extremely light surface scratching/scuffing causing noise which DOES NOT significantly compromise the fidelity of the music
G: There will be visible marking and noise evident but the record will still be listenable and enjoyable, depending on your ears.
I do not use the Mint grading since there really is no such thing as perfection. Also, I will NOT sell noisy vinyl (Fair/Poor gradings) UNLESS I feel that there is significant historical and/or collector interest in the item.
ALL records will have been visually graded under BRIGHT light and play graded on a Thorens TD165 table with little used Empire cartridge (at about 1.5 grams) and BOSE reference headphones with the Treble set HIGH. This play-grading system masks very little so rest assured that my descriptions will be ACCURATE.
All of my listings will have the particulars detailed (ie. any blemishes, detail concerning condition of vinyl, cover, etc.). All records will be shipped in new or top-condition recycled record mailers with well padded corners and extra stiffeners. Original inners will be included if available, and all vinyl/covers will be held within a poly outer (vinyl will be outside of cover).
I will not be held responsible for any items that are lost or damaged in transit, AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
I am a reasonable person. If you have issue with any purchased item, please work with me to reach a solution that will be to your liking. I offer money back guarantees including the original selling price of the item + shipping fees already paid. I will not refund the cost incurred by you to ship the item back to me. ALL bidders with less than 10 positive feedbacks MUST contact me first BEFORE bidding.
TAKE NOTE: SHIPPING IS AS OUTLINED BELOW (I NO LONGER SHIP TO RUSSIA)
SHIPPING/HANDLING: Since I will be shipping from Canada (terribly expensive postal rates), postage will be flat rate as follows:
1 LP anywhere in Continental U.S./Canada - $10 1 LP Overseas as per Canada Post fees in listed shipping rates
It costs me MORE THAN the $10 Continental listed fee to post an album, so everyone (in North America) gets a break on shipping. Multiple items will be quoted upon request! These shipping/handling rates are still DEFINITELY LESS than my actual costs. Feel free to ask questions at any time. No question will go unanswered. I have done A LOT OF VINYL BUYING on ebay and have encountered pretty much every conceivable issue.
On occasion, I will be listing cds. All of the cds will have their particular condition detailed within the listing. Shipping for cds will be $3 within Canada/U.S. and $6 to U.K./Japan. I will, of course, offer shipping/handling cost breaks on multiple items BUT since I am shipping from Canada (where we live with NOTORIOUSLY high postal rates), you may not receive the price break that you are hoping for.
AGAIN, being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing some of the costs of postage and ALL of the costs of shipping materials.
Payment by PayPal. Payment required within 10 days of auction end. Shipment will be made within 48 hours of receipt of payment (I can only make it to the Post Office every other day).
