Description

This is  Debut Records DEB-120, Miles Davis Blue Moods, a maroon labeled, original mono issue, of this classic session featuring Mingus, Britt Woodman, Teddy Charles and Elvin Jones. The record is in strong VG+ condition (VG+(+),  showing very few light marks and playing quietly except for moments of high end break-up on parts of "Alone Together", probably due  to the inferior pressing.  The cover has some light edge wear as well as a name in ink on the back  but is otherwise excellent and intact.  The labels (as is the norm for Debut originals) are detached from the vinyl, but look to have no spindle marks, but initials in pencil on both. This will make a fine initial "play" copy of this rare original issue. The record has been  cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.  This is part of a large jazz collection I will be posting over the next few months. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
