Description
Miles Davis featuring Sonny Rollins - Dig - Esquire 32-062 original UK 12" LP released in 1958 All tracks were recorded at one session in 1951 but were previously issued on two 10" LPs. This track list is the same as Prestige PRLP 7012 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dig_(Miles_Davis_album)
Media: Side 1: EX no discernible clicks or crackles Side 2: Track 1 VG+ with light clicks and crackles throughout whereas Track 2 has no discernible clicks or crackles so average grading for Side 2 is VG++
Sleeve: VG+ a good general appearance to the front side spoiled by a previous owner unnecessarily applying tape to all edges. However, there is hardly any ring wear or corner wear. The reverse also has tape to all edges but otherwise a good appearance. In the sleeve notes by Ira Gitler is an interesting fact, made possible by him being present at this and many Jazz recording sessions.
Labels: VG+ good appearance but slight discolouration and spindle wear (see note below about label colour)
Inner Sleeve: VG+ original paper and polythene inner sleeve. Please note that, for some reason due to camera characteristics, the true colour of the labels is shown on the photo of the inner sleeve not the actual label photos.
Postage and packing: The record will be packed in a standard record mailer with one thick cardboard stiffener and posted by international tracked postage, as applicable.
