On February 12th, 1964, 37 year-old Miles Davis led his band through one of the most exciting performances ever given. The show was put on at New York's Philharmonic Hall, and served as a benefit for voter registration in the Deep South at the height of the Civil Rights Movement. The setting and the moment proved to be significant, and the concert spawned two live albums, "My Funny Valentine in 1965, and "Four & More" in 1966.
