Description

1961 double album release from Miles Davis IN PERSON entitled Friday and Saturday Nights - Miles Davis In Person At the Blackhawk, San Francisco. The record contains the following tracks: Walkin', Bye Bye Blackbird, All Of You, No Blues, Bye Bye, Love I've Found You, Well you Needn't, Fran-Dance, So What, Oleo, If I Were A Bell, and Neo.

laminate gatefold mono c2l20 columbia, with printed color inner sleeves, 6 eye mono labels, ex shape lp's, vg+ cover with some small tears at bottom edge. The album cover sleeve has a slight bit of wear and a couple of scrape marks along the edges, and a bit of age discoloration on the inside as well, and otherwise there are no creases, writing, tears, peel marks, seam splits, or any other damage. The records have some light faint sleeve marks and (inaudible) age discoloration, and otherwise there are no significant scratches, scuff marks, or any other damage. These played quite nicely on my turntable tracking well under 2 grams, with a minimum of surface noise. The records have the Columbia label variation with the "six eyes" logo. The issue number of this item is Columbia C2L 20.  RARE!!!

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.

VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise, still plays great.

Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!
