Description

This is Columbia Records CL1041, Miles Davis + 19 Miles Ahead, a red and black deep groove, 6 eye label, original mono issue featuring arrangements by Gil Evans.  The matrix numbers 1D/1C are in the dead wax.  The record is in VG++ condition, looking almost un-played but there are small random areas where a light background crackle can be detected, but nothing to interfere with the enjoyment of the music. The labels are perfect. The rare, original cover has a star stamp and a small amount of foxing on the back but is still near mint. This is a wonderful collector's grade copy of  this seminal session offered with no reserve. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
