I have not found any copies with a black space where the number should be. I believe this is a promotional copy due to that, as well as the fact that this box set came from an estate of a lawyer for Miles Davis who had numerous promotional copies of vinyl.

Condition Detail:

Case is in fantastic shape, almost near mint if not for some light scratches/ scuffs on the top left corner and rear of the case.

All vinyl are in nm condition looking to have been seldom played if at all.
