Description

This is an original UK early‑run pressing of Miles Davis’ In A Silent Way, released in 1969 on CBS with the SBPG 63630 catalogue number. It has the early A2/B1 matrix pairing and the correct UK CBS orange labels. The back of the sleeve has the small written “73” this is common with sleeves of this period, however due to the amazing condition of the rest of the sleeves this still looks an excellent looking album. The front cover is stunning, the spine is clear and readable, and it comes with its original CBS inner.
The vinyl is in EX+ condition with a strong gloss and no visible marks under angled light. There are no hairlines, sleeve scuffs or cloudy areas, and the labels are clean with no writing or spindle wear. It has been play‑tested and plays very clean throughout with no intrusive noise. A very tidy example of this title.
Matrices are SBPG 63630 A2 and SBPG 63630 B1. This is an early UK lacquer cut and not a later reissue.
The record will be packed properly, with the vinyl removed from the sleeve and sent in a strong mailer with stiffeners.
