Description
Offered here is easily one of the best examples you'll ever see of this classic Miles Davis record Round About Midnight (CL 949 Mono Columbia, 1957). The album features Miles, John Coltrane, Red Garland on piano, Paul Chambers on bass, and "Philly Joe" Jones on drums.
Matrix codes (stamped): Side 1 XLP39109-1K Side 2 XLP39110-1D (this is described as "Variant 6" on the Discogs listing for this record).
Condition: Disc and sleeve are both in fantastic condition, this record has been very well cared for over the decades, with only one owner who may have played it once. The disc is in BEAUTIFUL condition, both sides are glossy, Side 1 has one light scratch on outer track, about 1 in, but otherwise looks near mint; Side 2 looks never played, and as close to mint as possible. Cover has bright, glossy graphics, very mild handling wear, very light tanning on the back cover and one other white areas, a small split at top right corner of about 1 cm, a bit of rubbing/ paper loss at top right corner of back. Has original clear plastic inner sleeve,
You'll be hard pressed to find such a nice disc for this classic LP anywhere else. Would make a great gift or addition to your collection.
