Description
This is the original deep-groove mono pressing of Miles Davis “Jazz Track” on the 6-eye labels of Columbia CL 1268, the first U.S. issue of music from the French film “L’Ascenseur Pour L’Echafaud”. The playing surface is in new-new condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played once. The cover is clean throughout; age toning on the left edge of the back slick; slight rubbing on the top and bottom of the front; ½” wear on the top seam, at the opening. Side 2 has Miles’ sextet playing standards. Illustrated inner sleeve is included. Personnel include John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Bill Evans, Philly Joe Jones, and Paul Chambers.
