Description: Miles Davis, Jazz Track, Columbia CL 1355
This is a mono pressing, presumed first pressing of this 1959 release. "Six Eye" Columbia red and black label.
Musicians: Miles Davis, Julian "Cannonball" Adderly, Paul Chambers, James Cobb, John coltrane, Bill evans and Wynton Kelly.
Condition: Sleeve has light to rubbing to both sides, initials in ink to lower right corner of back of sleeve. Plastic inner bag, in good shape.
Some spindle marks on label.
Disc: Side one Light crackling, notable in track one and dissipating across the rest of the tracks. Side two: very light crackling, generally really clean and bright.
A note on these Jazz records I'm listing: I'm not sure where or how they were stored, but the disc themselves were extremely dirty when they came to me (weirdly, the sleeves were not). I've given them a light cleaning before playing, but I suspect they would improve with a deeper cleaning, especially if you have a disc washer. I'm grading what I hear, but I suspect they can be improved.
